My work explores the intersection of nature, color, texture, and the female form. I am drawn to the organic rhythms found in both the natural world and the human body, using layered compositions to highlight their shared softness, strength, and complexity.
Trained in traditional oil painting, my practice has evolved into a multimedia approach that incorporates thread, yarn, and fabric. These materials allow me to move beyond the flat surface, building texture and dimension while introducing a tactile, almost intimate quality to each piece. The act of stitching and layering becomes both a visual and physical extension of the subject matter.
Color plays a central role in my work, guiding mood and energy while reinforcing a sense of movement and emotional depth. I am particularly interested in how bold, expressive palettes can coexist with softness and vulnerability.
Creating is at the core of who I am. It is not just a practice, but a constant—something I return to instinctively and with urgency. Each piece is an exploration of that drive, shaped by a deep need to make, to experiment, and to connect.
